SAP Tax Specialist

What You’ll Be Doing:
✔️ Configuring and optimizing SAP Tax solutions to ensure accurate tax calculations and compliance with global tax regulations (e.g., VAT, GST, Sales Tax).
✔️ Implementing tax-related processes across SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, and SAP MM to streamline tax reporting and management.
✔️ Collaborating with business and finance teams to ensure SAP systems align with local and international tax laws and requirements.
✔️ Conducting tax-related audits, providing actionable insights to improve tax processes, and ensuring proper tax documentation within SAP systems.
✔️ Managing tax reporting and compliance requirements within SAP, including tax returns, reports, and filings.
✔️ Providing expertise in resolving tax-related issues within SAP systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance in tax calculations.
✔️ Supporting the integration of SAP with tax engines and third-party tools to ensure seamless tax processing and reporting.
✔️ Keeping up to date with changes in global tax legislation and adjusting SAP configurations to remain compliant.

What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Proven experience as an SAP Tax Specialist with expertise in configuring and optimizing tax processes within SAP FICO, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP modules.
✔️ Strong knowledge of global tax regulations, including VAT, GST, Sales Tax, and other indirect taxes.
✔️ Experience working on tax reporting, tax returns, and tax compliance within SAP systems.
✔️ Familiarity with third-party tax engines and integrations with SAP.
✔️ Ability to perform tax-related audits, identify discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.
✔️ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex tax-related issues in SAP environments.
✔️ SAP Tax certifications or relevant qualifications are highly preferred.
✔️ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business, finance, and IT teams to ensure tax compliance.
